| This is a section of a gland is located in the acid producing area (fundus) of the stomach. The greenish cells produce acid, while the red stains a protein, Sonic hedgehog, that has been linked to stomach cancer. The blue color stains the nuclei (DNA) of the cells. | |||||||||||||||
